Preschool workshopsThe preschool groups, designed to introduce the children to a second language (French-English), offers activities that are appropriate for the participants’ ages and stages of development, and are designed to promote children’s overall physical and motor, cognitive, emotional, social, moral and language development, in accordance with the principles of the Quebec Daycare Services Education Program, as well as the principles set out in the Quebec Preschool Education Program. The workshops provide an excellent preparation for school.

Schedule: once a week
St-Hubert: Monday 9:00-11:30 AM
St-Jean: Tuesday and Thursday 9:00-11:30 AM
SunflowersAges: 4-5 years
Schedule: twice a week
St-Hubert: Monday and Wednesday 1:00-3:30 PM
St-Jean: Tuesday and Thursday 1:00-3:30 PM
Registration and cost:Winter 2009: 12 weeks beginning in the week of January 15
Registration from January the 5th to January the 9th.

Spring 2009: 6 weeks beginning in the week of April 15
Registration from April the 6th to April the 10.

At St-Jean, drop-in daycare is available before and after the workshops, for 3$. Parent who wants to use this service must register at the reception.
Prevention workshops:
Through the course of the year, during drop-in daycare, offered by the MFRC’s social workers, to help children cope with the challenges of life. Themes include moves, absence of a parent, etc.
Storytime
Come in your pyjamas with your dolly or teddy listen to a story and do a craft in a nice cozy atmosphere.
Schedule: One evening per month in French and one evening per month in English, 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
